Alumni Association If you are or soon to be DHHS alumni, help grow this group of supporters of your Alma Mater. Great way to stay in touch with friends. Volunteer Needed.
Auction Committee Plan, organize and promote the annual auction that raises money for academics, arts and athletics. Contact: Karen Jacobs or Susan Furman
Black History Month Committee Develop and put together programs during the Black History month (February) Contact Yvette Daniels or Cherese Myree
College Prep/College Mentor Committee The PTSA puts on programs to help prepare students and parents for the college application process. If you’re willing or share your experience as a parent or applicant, consider volunteering. Contact the PTSA.
Counseling Volunteers Provide support to the Counseling Department.Contact: Nancy Moore @ davidnancymoore@bellsouth.net
Communications Committee Help promote the PTSA’s work and activities through email blasts and social media. Contact: Camille Hyatt
Fundraising Committee Help PTSA raise the funds from individuals and corporations and through fundraising events to fund the teacher’s grants and other projects at the DHHS. Contact the PTSA
Grounds Beautification Committee Assist with improvements to the landscaping around the school or other outdoor projects.
Membership Committee Help the PTSA increase our membership.
